Shirley Williams
Shirley Williams lives in Columbus, Ohio. She is the proud mother of three sons and six grandchildren. After retiring from the U. S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development, she maintained a private housing consultant business and worked throughout the United States conducting workshops and seminars for local, federal and public/private officials. Also, for several years, Shirley served as co-trainer with Lewis Management Associates presenting professional development programs (local and international) to education, government, public and private business. Shirley has been a member of Unity since 1971. She obtained extensive spiritual training during her six years of attending classes and completing necessary coursework to become a Licensed Teacher in 1996. She believes that her life journey really began when she became involved in Unity, and all that she has been able to accomplish is a result of discovering the Christ within. In the capacity as Licensed Teacher, Shirley has designed and provided a variety of workshop programs for small groups, churches, and community and professional organization boards. In her own church community, she is a facilitator for adult education, provides spiritual counseling and prayer, and is known for her deeply spiritual and inspirational meditations that help create a sacred space within the listener to experience the power, presence and grace of God.
